NWOT: Covered by His Blood; No Returns | Unisex Crewneck Sweatshirt
The story behind the shirt:
A few weeks ago, I had a random thought about how, as followers of Jesus and because He died for us, we are made new. Still us, but new… kind of like that saying used to label clothes when you’re reselling them… they are “new without tags” - NWOT. That’s us… We are new, without the price tag. But still new.
So I let my thoughts wander down this path a little and came up with more thoughts. Yes, we are NWOT… because we are covered by His blood. We are NWOT, but there are No Returns. He has redeemed us forever. So… we are "NWOT. Covered by His blood; no returns".
In designing it, I wanted a scripture that fit to tie together the meaning and worked out the spacing on the back. John 3:16 is great, but it didn’t encompass all of what I felt during my thought train that resulted in all of this… so off to the Bible we went, and 1 Peter 1:18-19 is where we landed.
